You can configure the categories of ad fraud within this section: Protection > Blocking Settings.

Important: You can select blocking specific types of invalid traffic, but we advise enabling all categories.

The following categories can be enabled, disabled, and/or configured within the Fraud Categories UI.

  • Crawler

  • Data Center

  • Invalid User Agent

  • Bot

  • Device Spoofing

  • Geo Masking

  • Frequency Cap

  • Suspicious IP

  • Domain Spoofing

  • Location

For more information regarding the fraud categories you can learn more here: IVT Categories and Sub Categories.

Frequency Cap

Here you can set your frequency cap based on the clicks made during a certain period. Think of it as a safety net. Our system is programmed to trigger this feature when the number of clicks on your ads exceeds a predetermined limit. By default, this limit is set at 10 clicks within a 24-hour timeframe. Once this limit is reached, the system categorizes and flags the activity.

Location

In this section, you can restrict access from all countries except those specifically targeted as the example below.
