Introduction

To configure invalid click settings for Yahoo! Ads, you must first establish an API connection between Spider AF and your Yahoo! Ads account.

Note: If you have already completed the API connection, please skip sections 1–3 and begin from Section 4.

After the API connection is established, please proceed to Step 6: Invalid Click & Invalid Placement Exclusion Settings. (Not applicable for free trial users)

⚠️ Important Notes

Permissions: Please ensure the Yahoo! account used for the API connection has "Admin" or "Edit" privileges.

Setup Procedures for Yahoo! Invalid Click Exclusion

  1. Access Settings: Log in to Spider AF. From the left sidebar, navigate to Ad Fraud Protection > Configrations > Ad Network, then select either Yahoo! Search Ads or Yahoo! Display Ads.

  2. Connect Account: Click "Connect ad account" or "+ Add a new account." You will be redirected to the Yahoo! login page.

  3. Authorize API: Select the Yahoo! account you wish to use and enter your password. When the message "Do you authorize SAF API to access Yahoo! Ads?" appears, click "Approve."

  4. Select Accounts: You will be returned to the Spider AF dashboard. Use the "Yahoo Account" dropdown menu to select all specific ad accounts you wish to protect from ad fraud.

  5. Complete API Link: Click the green "Proceed with selected accounts" button to finalize the API connection.

  6. Finalize Exclusion Settings: Follow the steps in the help pages below to complete the setup. (Not applicable for free trial users)
