How to setup Spider AF trackers with GTM (Manual Integration)

Follow the steps below to integrate the Spider AF tracker on your website using Google Tag Manager.

Getting started

This help article explains how to implement the Spider AF LP (Landing Page) tracking tag using GTM (Google Tag Manager).

Please refer to the video guide at the top of this page or follow the steps below.

Find your Spider AF Tracker Code

First, copy your tracker code from Spider AF.

  1. In the Spider AF dashboard, go to:
    “Ad Fraud Protection” → “Configuration” → “Trackers.”

  2. The “Tracker List” will be displayed. Click the ⚙️ icon in the tracker column of your choice.

  3. In the slide-in panel displayed on the right, you will find the Tracker Snippet under “Tracker Integration.”

    Click “Copy” to copy the tag.

Set Up Spider AF Tracker in GTM

  1. In the left menu, go to Tags → New

  2. Click the circle in the Tag Configuration section.

  3. Under Tag Configuration, select Custom HTML.

  4. Name your Tag and in the HTML field, paste the tag you copied from Spider AF.

    *To prevent conflicts, there is no need to check “Support document.write.

  5. Click the circle in the Triggering section. Select the All Page view trigger and Save.

  6. After confirming your settings, click the “Submit” button in the top right corner to complete the setup.
